FROM THE DIRECTOR
As Director of the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team, it is my priority to deliver quality and dependable services to the citizens of Coos, Curry and Western Douglas counties. SCINT provides both enforcement and education to keep our neighborhoods safe and as drug free as possible.
SCINT is tasked with a difficult job. The public continues to be the best source of drug information that we rely upon. The manufacture, delivery, and use of illicit drugs and prescription medications continue to plague our society and negatively impact the quality of life here on the south coast of Oregon. Recent statistics have shown that more than 60 percent of the locations where SCINT conducts drug enforcement operations have stolen property as well. Additionally violent crimes occurring in Coos County usually involve the use and/or delivery of illicit drugs.
You can help us at SCINT by being committed to making our community drug free. Please use this website or your local police department or Sherriff’s office website to report drug information!
